How do I find out who is on my
local committee?
Your
Local Emergency Planning Committee consists of volunteers from the
local area. To view a list of the current members, click

Where and When is the next
Committee meeting?
Your
Local Emergency Planning Committee meets bi-monthly at the 911 Center
on Core Road in Parkersburg, WV. Meetings are held on the third

How do I know if my company needs
to file a report with the Committee?
The
rules and procedures contained in Sara Title II are complex. If you

What is a MSDS?
A MSDS
is a Materiel Safety Data Sheet. All manufacturers are required to
produce one for every product that they make. Information contained in
the MSDS includes health hazards associated with the product, clean-up
(decontamination) instructions, volatility, and many other aspects of
the material.
My company uses a lot of
different chemicals. How do I get a MSDS for a particular substance?
Employers are required to have MSDS's for all potentially hazardous
materials used in production or stored on premises, and to have them
